Your First Smart Home: Where to Actually Start

Home automation sounds expensive and complicated — but the best way to start is small, with the switches you already touch a dozen times a day. Replace the switch, keep the wiring, and suddenly your lights and fans answer to your phone, your voice and automatic scenes.

Start with the living room

The living room is where you'll feel automation most. A smart panel here lets you dim the lights for a movie, turn everything off from the sofa and set a warm ‘evening’ scene without getting up. It's the room that sells the whole idea to the family.

Add scenes, not gadgets

The value isn't in controlling one light — it's in controlling many at once. A ‘Goodnight’ scene that switches off the whole house, or a ‘Welcome’ scene that lights the entry when you arrive, is what makes a home feel smart.

Voice and schedules

Once your switches are smart, connect them to Alexa or Google and add schedules — porch lights at sunset, bedroom lights softly on at 6 AM. It runs itself.

Grow at your pace

Because our panels are modular, you can start with one room and expand whenever you like. Visit the trial wall in our studio to feel the difference before you commit.
